I’ve never been a fan of blaming coaches for a teams failure, that blame goes to the players, if you can’t execute a plan given, then you don’t deserve to be there. I never thought Boudreau was the problem, ever since opening the season with 7 straight wins, the inconsistency & bad luck has been ridiculous. I think tonight showed just how out-of-sync this team is. And don’t even get me started on Ovechkin leaving early during the second period, bar the exception of an injury that’s just unacceptable of a ‘leader’ to so blatantly throw in the towel. I read what Caps fans had to say after the game & everyone is basically calling for the trading of the team. I don’t know what the answer to the problem is, but they need to get their shit straight if they want to make it to the post-season.
